The IsDB has found the necessity of qualified human resources for social advancement and sustainable development. The IsDB is inviting the human resources development to all the member countries with its development financing activities. The IsDB has been funding the following Scholarship Programmes for citizens from IsDB member countries and Muslim communities worldwide

About Islamic Development Bank Scholarship

In order to increase the interest of the citizens, the bank has launched a joint programme with The World Academy of Science (TWAS) in Trieste, The IsDB is investing the number of  Scholarship Programmes for the citizens from IsDB member countries and Muslim communities worldwide. In the motive of the increase of critical mass in the field of Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) to deal with the sustainable development in this IsDB has got full support from Italy.

Eligibility Criteria For IsDB Scholarship

• The applicant should belong to the Muslim community or should be a member of IsDB.
• The applicant should have passed his high school with minimum good grades in major subjects or currently studying in the first year at one of the top public/government universities in their own countries.
• If the applicant is a member of IsDB then he should have an agreement with the IsDB ( Malaysia, Morocco, and Turkey).
• The applicant should not have any receipt of any other scholarship programme.
• The candidate should be medically fit and have to undergo medical tests after selection in the Scholarship Programme.

• The monthly financial help is given according to the course.
• The finance for living in the country to study is also provided.
• The finance help for the Tuition fees is also given if the subject id approved by the IsDB.
• The medical cost during the course is also provided under the Scholarship.
• IsDB also provides the economy class return air tickets for the two time one during the admission and another during the end of the course.
• The students are also allowed for the equipment and installation in the abroad with the partnered universities/countries.

Islamic Development Bank Scholarship Selection Process

The selection process and review have been done under an independent International Selection Committee which is composed of academicians and chaired by the Senior Advisor of the IsDB President for Science, Technology, and Innovation.

The selection is done after the eligibility process, documents are verified and then the committee approval is done and after this final selection is done by the IsDB management and this is the final decision for the Scholarship.
