The Board of Technical Education Uttar Pradesh (BTEUP) is started in May 1958. The BTEUP has conducted the first exam in 1960. The BTEUP has conducted the exam for the diploma level. The UPBTE has the main objective of every BTEUP Scholarship is to encourage students to pursue education and to reduce dropout rates in all UP college and universities.

The Board of Technical Education Uttar Pradesh (Bteup) Scholarship is the scholarship that invites the Students willing for the course of Engineering. The Scholarship provides financial help to the Engineering students who can not afford the high fees of the Engineering colleges. The Scholarship has different levels for the Pre – Matric, and Post – Matric scholarships.

Eligibility Criteria for BTEUP Scholarship  

The Board of Technical Education Uttar Pradesh has also set eligibility criteria for the students of Uttar Pradesh. This was done in order to reduce the fake application forms and the aim was also fixed that the UPBTE is going to help the poor and the only student who needs to be helped by the government. The eligibility criteria for the BTEUP are mentioned below.

• The students should belong to the Uttar Pradesh state only.
• Anyone can fill the form of whether the students belong to SC/ST/OBC and general category. They can apply for the UPBTE scholarship.
• The students applying in the scholarship should have primary admission to the state college, school, and university i.e. the college should be of Uttar Pradesh.
• There are different margins set for the scholarship for SC/ST/OBC and general category which are listed below with full details.
